Why Choose Insignia Braces For Your Crooked Smile?

Your smile is just like your fingerprints - unique. No one else will have that. Hence, it is essential to protect your smile and, of course, your teeth too. Having crooked or misaligned teeth can negatively affect the beauty of your smile. Most often, experts will recommend dental braces or clear aligners and other orthodontic equipment as a remedy for this problem. Having too many choices can put patients in a dilemma about what to choose?

If you want orthodontic treatment, but clear plastic aligners aren't suitable for what you need,  Insignia Smile Design or Braces is the best choice. Compared to the traditional fixed, metallic, and wired braces, the brackets used as part of the Insignia system are much smaller, making them less noticeable yet just as effective.

What is the Insignia Smile design?

Insignia Smile Design is a procedure that uses a state of the art imaging software to create a 3-D portrayal of your future smile. Using this method insignia measures the exact curvature and width of your smile. Based on this measure, insignia braces are prepared to suit your face shape and the movement of your teeth needed to achieve it.

How does it work?

Insignia treatment is an individualized, interactive process that begins with collecting the impression of your teeth. These precisely taken impressions are then sent to the smile design lab. After preparing a 3D representation of your bite is made using highly sophisticated imaging software. The experts will customize wires and brackets precisely that can affect your tooth movement in the most optimal way.

What are the benefits?
  •  Cost-effective method
  •  Patients can have a preview of the results even before starting treatment
  •  More comfortable smaller brackets
  •  Great results compared to traditional methods
  •  The very discreet, yet effective, treatment option
Insignia braces are the right choice for those patients who would like a discreet treatment option. Compared to the traditional metal braces, Insignia braces provide excellent results while being more comfortable and less noticeable than other metal braces.

The duration of the treatment varies depending on the individual patient's needs. If you are searching the right place to correct your crooked smile, book an appointment with the team at Smile Architect Centre for Dental & Invisible Braces today.

Arch Over Heart And Nap

Sleep could either be partially or completely disturbed or blocked due to problems with breathing. This condition develops due to the blockage or narrowing of the upper airway during sleep. Obstructive sleep apnea differs for adults and children with the changes in their behavior. Children tend to have more behavioral problems as adenoids and tonsils get enlarged. It is better to get early diagnosis and treatment to prevent complications that would affect the child’s growth, cognitive development, and behavior.

 OSA

Symptoms
Obstructive sleep apnea in children would show certain signs such as:
  • Snoring
  • Restless sleep
  • Breathing through mouth
  • Pauses while breathing
  • Wetting the bed
  • Sleep terrors
  • Coughing or choking

Cardiovascular consequences

When obstructive sleep apnea is left untreated, it could lead to several cardiovascular problems. OSA can cause high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation), slow heart rate (bradycardia), coronary heart disease, and heart failure. When obstructive sleep apnea is left untreated, then the oxygen levels would drop during sleep, damaging blood vessels that supply blood to the heart. This drop-in oxygen level would cause the heart rate to change, causing blood pressure to go up.

Severe obstructive sleep apnea would lead to stress, which in turn causes the heart to enlarge. An enlarged heart cannot pump the regular way. The body and heart would not be unable to receive sufficient oxygen as the oxygen levels will also drop.

Coronary artery disease or hardening of the arteries occurs because the small blood vessels become narrow. These small vessels supply blood and oxygen to the heart. Narrowed coronary arteries would cause cardiac arrest and heart damage. Untreated OSA can lead to heart attacks and heart failures in the future, as chances are higher when left untreated.

Medical care

Treating obstructive sleep apnea can prevent or improve heart problems. Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) is a device used to treat OSA, and this is one of the most common devices used for the same. This would help control the symptoms of OSA and prevent or control the heart-related problems associated with sleep apnea that are often considered as severe and life-limiting.

At Smile Architect Center for Dental & Invisible Braces, the doctor helps to identify the problem on time and prevents or improves the problems caused due to obstructive sleep apnea in children.

How long does it take to straighten your teeth withn clear aligners ?

It depends, would be the honest answer, as every person is different. However, twelve months is about average.

Clear Aligners

We all know what tooth braces are; ugly, metallic things, that make life hideous for the wearer. But, it need not be so, as more and more people are having success with clear orthodontic devices called "aligners." What is the difference? Braces use metal brackets that are interconnected with wires that gently push teeth in a particular direction. Aligners, however, are a series of tight-fitting mouth pieces that slip over the teeth. Many of them are custom fitted and as they are clear they are often called Invisible Aligners.

They however are not for everyone. Special care must be taken with children as both their bone structure and teeth are changing. Best to consult with a specialist. They are commonly used on patients with mild to moderately crowded teeth or minor spacing issues. Severe spacing problems may need complex and more specialised treatment.

How does it work?

After a thorough examination, the orthodontist will make a plan to correct the patient's bite by actually moving the teeth. For this the patient will be, over period of time, fitted with clear aligners, that will move the teeth. They are made of clear plastic, that fit tightly over the teeth and can be removed by the patient for eating and brushing.

Clear Aligners

How long will it take?

This depends on how much the teeth need to be moved or are crooked; how much off the bite is. It usually takes 10 to 24 months, depending on the patient. However, as they are not as precise as metal braces, small adjustments over a period of time may be necessary.

Treatment for snoring

If you snore, do not worry, nearly half of all adults snore frequently. Snoring occurs when air flows through your throat when you breathe in your sleep. This causes the relaxed tissues in your throat to vibrate and cause harsh, irritating snoring sound.

Snoring

What are some of the common reasons for snoring?

1.    Excess Body weight
2.    Consumption of alcohol
3.    Certain sleep aides or sedatives
4.    Obstructive sleep apnea

Can the dentist really help in solving the problem of snoring?

Most cases of snoring are caused due to an improper arrangement of the jaw which prevents easy and normal breathing. A lack of proper expansion in the mouth is a common cause for the same. The Maxillary Skeletal expansion device or MSE, as the name suggests is a device that expands your mouth and ensures that there’s enough room for breathing and for your tongue, this dramatically reduces the tendency to snore. An MSE appliance is extremely effective and it eliminates the need for complicated surgeries and a long list of medication. Instead a simple appliance placed in your mouth does the trick.

So, if you or anyone you know is plagued by snoring, get in touch and we will see how we can help

Have a sound sleep without sleeping disturbance

Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder distinguished by repeated interruptions in breathing throughout the sleep. The interruption is called apnea which is caused by the soft tissue collapse in the airway that prevents oxygen from reaching the lungs. As sleep apnea disturbs the entire sleep cycle, it will directly impact on the health, mental performance, energy. Sleep apnea becomes fatal if left untreated.

https://www.invisiblebracesbangalore.com/sleep

The common symptoms of sleep apnea

  • Snoring is the prime symptoms associated with choking or gasping sounds
  • Night sweats
  • Tiredness
  • Depression
  • Morning headaches
  • Daytime sleepiness
  • Sexual dysfunction
  • Frequent urination at night
  • Loss of energy

Types of sleep apnea

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA): It is the most common sleep apnea type. In OSA, air flow is stopped into the lungs due to a blockage in the upper airway i.e. in the throat or nose.

Central apnea: It is a less common type. In this case, though the airway is open, air flow is stopped into the lung because no effort was made to breathe. As the signal between the brain and the body is affected, the breathing stops. People with CSA will not often snore, so the condition is unnoticed.

Mixed apnea: This is a mixture of both obstructive sleep apnea and central apnea conditions.

When the body does not receive adequate oxygen, it leads to serious health complications such as stroke, high blood pressure, depression, heart disease, Diabetes & pre-diabetes.

Nocturnal polysomnography: It is a sleep study used to diagnose sleep disorders. Polysomnography records brain waves, oxygen levels in the blood, breathing and heart rate. Even leg and eye movements are watched during the test.

DNA Appliance: It is an alternative to the conventional fixed orthodontic appliance. This removable appliance is worn both by adults and children at the day and night time. Make your teeth more beautiful and comfortable with Invisalign

In the modern medical world, everything has got a better alternative. In case of dentistry, traditional braces are completely ruled out by Invisalign/clear braces. The wearing style of Invisalign does not showcase that a person wears such an item. It perfectly matches the originality. In the Invisalign, a series of strong, clear aligner trays are used over the teeth. These trays are customized using a computer-aided design and until the bite is corrected the trays are modified. Though both traditional and Invisalign braces bring out the same functionality for a variety of dental issues such as overbite, crowding, spacing, Invisalign covers many advantages over traditional metal braces.

invisalign in bangalore

Why is Invisalign better than traditional braces?

By appearance, it fits with adults. Metal or traditional braces may be discomfort and project your appearance unattractive. Invisalign clear braces are totally undetectable and do not draw unnecessary attention to orthodontic treatment.

Keeping brackets and wires, maintaining oral hygiene is a great difficulty. Food particles deposit in the hidden areas and cause unnecessary decay whereas Invisalign is removable, convenient with a healthy solution.

Generally, traditional braces take more time to straighten the teeth whereas Invisalign clear braces take up to 18 months for teeth straightening without hurting gums, cheeks, and muscles.

invisalign in bangalore

Invisalign braces are completely computerized and created with a non-metal item. So, it sits comfortably in the mouth. As it is easily removable and manageable, Invisalign can be easily handled without any hassle.

Traditional braces cause tooth discoloration and often breakage. It does not withstand difficulties while eating.

The advantages of Invisalign are many such as easily removable, facilitates brushing, flossing, prevents periodontal disease, maintains oral hygiene, eat anything without the fear of breakage, clear and invisible, smooth with comfortable plastic, no sharp metal is used. So, it does not irritate the oral cavity. This revolutionizing teeth straightening option is universally accepted.

Refrain From Migraine And Snoring - TMJ Treatment

The Temporomandibular Joint connects the jaw to the skull. When this joint is damaged or injured, it will lead to pain and uneasiness. This TMJ joint only helps to chew, yawn, talk, and move the jaw up and down. The temporomandibular joint distortion results in wrong breathing and inconsistent chewing. It happens because the upper and lower teeth do not occlude normally. There will be a shift in the mandibular position and the body is propelled to find a solution to this issue. The altered mandible articulates with the skull in many ways leading to a TMJ disorder. As important nerves undergo prolonged stimulation in this region, it leads to many discomforts.

tmj treatment

TMJ symptoms

Severe pain in the jaw joint, face, ear, neck, eye
Clicking sound of the jaw
Ear pain or cracking sounds in the ear
Headaches, migraines
Stiff jaw or neck muscles
Muscle spasms in the jaw
Difficulty in chewing
Dizziness or vertigo

Causes of TMJ

Excessive gum chewing
Teeth grinding
Arthritis and other musculoskeletal disorders
Orthodontic braces
Anxiety or stress
Malocclusion
Injury

TMJ Treatment

TMJ disorder is treated in two phases

Phase I: Splint therapy: A TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation), an ultra-low frequency machine used to relax facial muscles. A highly sophisticated tracking device helps to determine the actual position of the mandible. To fill out the space between the teeth, a lower splint is constructed.

Phase II: After six months, the splint is removed and with the help of orthodontic therapy space is closed permanently.

Let's Smile Perfectly

http://www.invisiblebracesbangalore.com/

Invisalign is a best option for the people to improve their appearance of smile. Invisalign aligners are used to straighten crowded or crooked teeth’s, adjust overbites and close gaps. The Invisalign treatment contains wearing of clear plastic trays which are customized according to the mouth shape and a less noticeable option in comparison to metal braces. Invisalign is a very common and less observable teeth straightening device. The aligners are virtually invisible and fit comfortably over the teeth. Each aligner shifts the teeth slightly, moving them vertically and horizontally and rotating, when needed. Aligners are plotted to develop a right amount of force at the right time in the right place. It takes less time to make teeth better and comfortable. It is also a good option for several dental problems such as overbite, under bite, cross bite or spacing. Invisalign works great in the straightening out the front teeth.

It is very important to brush and floss regularly after each meal to make Invisalign effective and useful. Not any other product is recommended to clean the teeth as they may be discoloring the aligners and develop a yellowish color on the teeth. The aligners are just like bleaching tray and soaked food and low pH saliva if they are trapped. Invisalign maintain a better hygiene over braces. It is recommended to wear the aligners at least 20-22 hours per day to get desired results. This includes changing of new set of aligners every two weeks during the treatment period. Patients generally noticed visible changes in the mouth within four to five months, sometimes it may be sooner.

We make you smile in a better way

Invisalign and veneers are the best way to improve the looking of smile. Both are the excellent options for the people to develop healthier mouth and feel much confident about their looks. Invisalign is basically used for the teeth straightening whereas veneers help to improve damaged teeth. Inviaslign is an alternative to braces whereas veneers are an alternative to false teeth as it has a capping system.

http://www.invisiblebracesbangalore.com/invisalign/

Invisalign

Invisalign is using clear trays to support teeth strengthen and align the mouth properly. Invisalign allows having a straighter smile without the need for braces. They are less observable than metal braces and taking shorten timeframe for making teeth to look better and comfortable. Invisalign also makes cleaning of teeth an easier step. Invisalign is a good option for the dental issues such as correct spacing, underbite, overbite, and cross bite.

Veneers

Veneers provide a brilliant way to improve smile.  Veneers are in the mainstream from recent years. Veneers are bonded existing teeth in comparison to invisalign which re-aligns the teeth and/or mouth. Veneers technique bond the tooth enamel as a thin porcelain covering that dramatically improves the tooth looks. Veneers are supportive in the case of teeth discoloration, damaged teeth, re-shape, or chipped teeth.

Veneers are little costly than invisalign. A cosmetic dentist explains more accurately about the right treatment plan for an individual on the basis of their particular situation.

Invisible Braces: Smile Confidently

Everyone want a great smile, but a majority of people need help in getting there. More and more people are having success with clear orthodontic devices called invisible braces.

http://www.invisiblebracesbangalore.com/invisiblebraces/invisiblealignersbangalore/

Braces make use of brackets, which are connected by wires to help the teeth to move. Clear or invisible braces aren't for everyone. The dentist will help decide what’s best for you.

Can anyone get invisible teeth aligners?
As the invisible braces are custom-built for a tight fit, they are best for only adults or teens. Straightening a child’s teeth is way more complicated. Young people, and their mouths are still growing and developing so invisible braces are not suited for children.
Clear orthodontic braces are typically used for patients who have mild or moderately crowded teeth, or have minor spacing issues. Patients who have severe crowding or spacing problems or severe under bites, overbites, or cross bites may need more complex treatment.
How do they work?

Once a dentist decides how to correct your bite, they'll make a plan for moving your teeth. If you get the clear braces, you’ll be fitted for several versions that make slight adjustments to move your teeth over the treatment time.
They’re made from a clear plastic or acrylic material and fit tightly over the teeth.
How long does it take to straighten teeth using invisible braces?
Treatment time with invisible teeth braces is based on how much the teeth need to be moved or rotated. The more your bite is off or the more crooked your teeth, the longer it will take. Treatment usually takes between 10 and 24 months. As someone who has had braces previously, and your teeth has shifted slightly overtime, invisible braces are required for about 10 to 12 weeks.

Smile Architect, Bangalore offers a wide range of treatments and is specially recognised for Invisible Braces treatment.

Say Goodbye to Pain With TMJ Disorder

The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) acts like a sliding hinge, connecting your skull to your jaw bone. You have one joint on each side of the jaw. TMJ disorders — a type of temporomandibular disorder or TMD — can cause pain in your jaw’s joint and in the muscles that control the jaw’s movement.

http://www.invisiblebracesbangalore.com/invisiblebraces/tmj-treatments/

The exact cause of a person's TMJ disorder is often tough to determine. Your pain might be due to a combination of factors, such as genetics, arthritis or injury. Some individuals who have jaw pain also tend to clench or grind their teeth, although many individuals habitually clench or grind their teeth and never develop TMJ disorders.
In most cases, the pain and discomfort related with TMJ disorders is momentary and can be relieved with medication or nonsurgical treatments. Surgery is typically a last option after conservative actions have failed, but some people with TMJ disorders may benefit from surgical treatment.
What are the Symptoms?
  • Pain or tenderness in the jaw
  • Pain in one or both the temporomandibular joints
  • Aching pain in or around your ear
  • Difficulty in chewing or pain while chewing
  • Aching facial pain
  • Locking of the joints, making it difficult to open or close your mouth

TMJ disorders can also cause a clicking sound or grating sense when you open your mouth to chew. But if there's no pain or limitation of movement associated with it, you probably don't need treatment for a TMJ disorder.
How Is It Treated?
There are a number of ways through which TMJ Disorder is treated. Therapies like Oral splints or mouth guards (Splint therapy, orthodontic therapy, occlusal appliances, Physical therapy & Counseling are also recommended. If nothing works then it has to be treated using surgery.

Smile Architect, is the leading Dental Clinic in Bangalore which provides the best treatment for TMJ Disorder

Is Snoring Bad for Your Health ?

Sleep Apnoea is a very common disorder among people, especially men. This is a kind of disorder where you pick up pauses in breathing or the whole process of breath-taking becomes shallow at some points.  After a small break, it may suddenly return to normalcy with a loud snort or choke. This leaves you behind with a poor, regularly disturbed and uneven sleep which keeps you tired all the day.

Loud snoring, waking up suddenly from sleep or choking or gasping during sleep are all signs of sleep apnoea. Increased tendency for daytime sleep and fatigue are also regarded as signs of sleep apnoea.

Overweight, age and thickness of the neck are often regarded as the main causes for sleep apnoea. People who are obese are highly likely to pick up this disorder. People who are older than 50 years of age are also said to have reasonably, higher probability of picking up sleep apnoea. Studies reveal that people who have a neck circumference greater than 40cm might also become sleep apnoea patients.

The treatment for sleep apnoea will be decided only after finding the root cause. Life style changes, mouth pieces, breathing devices or surgical options are the different methods to treat sleep apnoea.

Smile Architect, Bangalore is famous for treating disorders like sleep apnoea. It needs to be accepted that the institution has created a space for itself in the treatment of these disorders. The uses of oral devices require good knowledge and perfection in crafting such devices, which is exactly what makes Smile Architect special.

Do You Have Pain While Chewing ?

Disorders associated with the Temporomandibular Joint is a very common disorder among most of the people. TMJs are hinges that joins the jaws with the skull. TMJ or Temporomandibular joint may undergo changes to its original position which might destroy the normalcy in chewing, breathing properly or orthodontic treatments. This can also impact the intake of food and that of oxygen which destroys the rhythm of the life and leaves you tired and gasping.

http://www.invisiblebracesbangalore.com/invisiblebraces/tmj-treatments/

The main causes for a TMJ disorder might include an injury to the jaw, problems associated with jaw muscles or even arthritis of the joint can result in a TMJ disorder. Clenching the teeth tightly or chewing or grinding with your teeth might also pave way for a TMJ disorder. Damage of the ball and socket joint or the cushioning around the joint might also be the cause for a TMJ disorder.
TMJ treatments take a different approach from usual towards healing the disease and restoring normalcy to the people. It makes use of a very complicated tracking machine to find the defect and try to restore the original state with the use of personalised and custom made splint like structures. A special device is used to relax the facial muscles so as to bring the TMJ back to normalcy. Returning the joint and the muscles along with it to the normal state would reverse the difficulties that crept in due to the deformation of the joint.
Smile Architect, is a Leading Dental Clinic in Bangalore provides dental treatments at affordable costs. We Offer a wide range of treatments including clear path services, tmj pain treatment, sleep apnea, clear braces and implants.

Invisible Braces : Creates Beautiful Smile

As we all know, a warm smile is the universal language of kindness.

Braces are generally recommended for straightening and aligning the tooth. These corrections are performed by orthodontists. It not only improves appearance, but also misaligned teeth which will have long-term side effects such as chewing impairment, defects in speech, abnormal swallowing, abnormal facial muscle function,  etc.
